Years of Social Impact
Shining Jharkhand is a women-led nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the most vulnerable sections of society—children, women, and marginalized communitiesacross the state of Jharkhand. Deeply rooted in rural and tribal regions, the organization works with a mission to drive social transformation through education, health, livelihood promotion, women’s empowerment, and sustainable development. Established with a vision to build a brighter, equitable, and progressive Jharkhand, the organization focuses on strengthening community participation, enhancing capacities, promoting rights and awareness, and enabling self-reliance at the grassroots level.
The aim of Unnati Educational and Charitable Trust is to motivate the financially weak and needy students of the society to get higher education and to divert them towards higher education by taking responsibility of their 100% college fees.
Secretary
Puja Kumari serves as the Secretary of Shining Jharkhand and plays a key role in planning, coordination, and implementation of the organization’s programs. She is dedicated to community development and actively works towards empowering women, youth, and marginalized groups through various initiatives. Her commitment and leadership contribute significantly to the organization’s mission of sustainable and inclusive development.

Our NGO regularly conducts social awareness programs, educational drives, women empowerment campaigns and youth development activities across Jharkhand.
We have organized a 3-month free computer training course, which is an ADCA course for diploma students in computer application in Ranchi. So far, 59 students have benefited from this course.
We celebrated World Environment Day to promote awareness and environmental protection by planting 50 saplings in Kanke Block, Ranchi.
India's women and youth have severe issues with underemployment and unemployment. There are a plethora of reasons why people drop out of high school, including inadequate education, early family support needs, ignorance of the labor market, and—above all—a lack of fundamental skills that modern employers want. Many young people work for pay on a regular basis without realizing the opportunities that are open to them. We trained people in useful skills for the underprivileged in Ranchi's Upper Chutia. Our goals are to develop long-lasting skill development programs for industrial jobs and to encourage entrepreneurship.
